MUMBAI, India, Jan. 23 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202531133670 A) filed by Agi Greenpac Limited, Kolkata, West Bengal, on Dec. 30, 2025, for 'crushed refined soda (crs) granules and applications thereof.'
Inventor(s) include Ajay Joshi; Suriya E; Pallapolu Srinivasa Rao; and Tummalachervu Venkata Hanumantha Rama Krishna.
The application for the patent was published on Jan. 23, under issue no. 04/2026.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The present invention generally relates to the field of the glass manufacturing industry. In particular, 5 the invention specifically relates to crushed refined soda (CRS) granules and their use in industrial applications, particularly in glass manufacturing processes. The CRS granules comprise silica fine dust, lime powder, and crushed refined soda powder, optionally along with a binder. The CRS granules exhibit controlled moisture content with high crushing strength suitable for industrial handling. The invention also provides a process for preparing CRS granules and their applications in 10 the glass industry."
