MUMBAI, India, April 17 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202621023783 A) filed by Marwadi University, Rajkot, Gujarat on Feb. 27, for 'crop threshing device.'
Inventor(s) include Ayush Gour; Sukhdeep Kaur; Rajkumar Rajbhar; Deep Dave; and Dr. Sanket Badiyani.
The application for the patent was published on April 17, under issue no. 16/2026.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A crop threshing device, comprises of a body 101 having a set of extendable rods 102, at least one motorized tracked wheels 103, each wheel 103 controlled by an onboard drive unit for autonomous movement and terrain adaptation, a horizontally mounted motorized roller 104 to process cereal crop bundle, a set of articulated arms 105 to access a container, a sensor array to monitor operational, environmental, and crop parameters in real time, a plurality of sliders 106 and extendable pins 107, each pin 107 connected through a motorized ball and socket joint to allow variable spacing and angular adjustment for dynamic threshing, a sieve unit 108 for separating grains from straw and foreign particles, at least one blowing unit 110 to generate directional airflow for removal of lightweight contaminants and a water misting assembly including an electronically controlled nozzle 111 connected with a water reservoir 112."
