MUMBAI, India, Jan. 2 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202511102432 A) filed by Lovely Professional University, Phagwara, Punjab, on Oct. 24, 2025, for 'crisp-fresh food preservation container system.'
Inventor(s) include Soni Singh; Kirti; and Arpita.
The application for the patent was published on Dec. 12, under issue no. 50/2025.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The invention discloses a food preservation container system (100) designed to maintain the crispiness and warmth of fried snacks and flatbreads for at least five hours. The system comprises an inner mesh tray (102) that elevates food, a lower chamber (104) containing a replaceable moisture-absorbing pad (106), and a ventilated lid (108) with one-way steam outlets. Steam from hot food rises and exits through the lid vents, while oil and condensation pass downward into the lower chamber, where they are absorbed by the pad. This tri-layer interaction prevents sogginess while preserving warmth and flavor. Made from food-safe, reusable materials, the container is portable, eco-friendly, and suitable for domestic, restaurant, and delivery applications, ensuring crispness and hygiene over extended durations."
