According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The rapid growth in online transactions has eventually made credit card fraud one of the most common digital crimes. The detection of such fraudulent behavior in its early stage assists banks, financial institutions, and customers in staying safe from unauthorized activities. The project has been designed for web-based Credit Card Fraud Detection Systems where users can upload the transaction dataset, view preprocessed records, generate predictions, and visualize analysis reports. The system uses machine learning for pattern description in transactions to classify a transaction as legitimate or fraudulent. A simple and interactive dashboard lets users easily operate file management, dataset analysis, and the running of detection models. The main objective of this project is to provide a practical, user-friendly, and efficient platform that will automate fraud detection by using intelligent algorithms. This will reduce manual effort while improving accuracy in fraud detection."
