MUMBAI, India, Oct. 11 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202411019744 A) filed by Sanskriti University, Mathura, Uttar Pradesh, on March 17, 2024, for 'crawling training device for toddler.'

Inventor(s) include Dr. Usama Uddin; and Aishwary Awasthi.

The application for the patent was published on Oct. 10, under issue no. 41/2025.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A crawling training device for toddler comprising, a platform 1 positioned on a ground surface installed with a pair of curved shaped plate 2 via a set of telescopically operated rods 3 for accommodating a toddler, a weight sensor for detecting the accommodation of the toddler on plates 2, an inflatable member 5 for inflating the members for providing comfort to the toddler. a camera 6 for capturing multiple images, the microcontroller by means of an AI processes the captured images for detecting the toddler's height, a set of motorized sliders 8 configured between the rods 3 and platform 1 for maintaining an optimum distance, a telescopically operated rod 3 extends/retracts to allow the toddler to crawl over the ground surface. an L-shaped telescopically operated bar 9 installed with the platform 1 for attracting the toddler towards the toy 10."
