MUMBAI, India, Sept. 26 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202411018851 A) filed by Teerthanker Mahaveer University, Moradabad, Uttar Pradesh, on March 14, 2024, for 'crack repairing device for tunnel.'

The application for the patent was published on Sept. 26, under issue no. 39/2025.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A crack repairing device for tunnel comprises of, a platform 1 positioned on a ground surface in a tunnel, multiple motorized omnidirectional wheels 2 for moving the platform 1 on the ground surface, an artificial intelligence-based imaging for detecting the cracks in the tunnel, a multiple motorized pivot joints for tilting the links 4 towards/away from each other for lifting/lowering the platform 1, a first robotic arm 5 for positioning the valve 6 in proximity to the crack for dispensing the water on the crack in view of cleaning the crack, a second robotic arm 8 for positioning the nozzle 9 in proximity to the crack, an electronic nozzle 9 for dispensing the concrete mixture in the crack, a telescopically operated rod 11 to horizontally align the member 12 with the crack, and an electromagnetic spring 13 to continuously expand and compress for striking the member 12 on the crack."
