MUMBAI, India, Jan. 2 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202511103407 A) filed by Chitkara University; and Chitkara Innovation Incubator Foundation, Rajpura, Punjab, on Oct. 27, 2025, for 'covering system for loading vehicles.'
Inventor(s) include Raghubir Singh.
The application for the patent was published on Dec. 12, under issue no. 50/2025.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A covering system for loading vehicles, comprises of a framework 101 designed to be installed with a container 102 carrying a load on a loading vehicle, a monitoring unit for determining environmental conditions and load dimensions, at least two support clamping arms 103 to mount framework 101 on container 102, a height adjustment unit to alter position of framework 101 according to determined load dimensions, a top covering arrangement to get deployed upon detection of unfavorable weather conditions in view of protecting load from any damage, a lateral side covering arrangement to form an adjustable side walls for providing side coverage, a cleaning module to automatically clean and remove any deposited dust from sheet at a pre-defined intervals, an aerodynamic maintenance module to adjust a front cover angle diagonally or vertically based on load height promoting aerodynamic airflow and protection from environmental influences."
