MUMBAI, India, Nov. 21 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202511084929 A) filed by Ornate Agencies Pvt. Ltd., New Delhi, on Sept. 8, for 'coupled inductor based lcl filter arrangement for single-phase grid-tied inverter with enhanced harmonic suppression.'
Inventor(s) include Bhattacharya, Mr. Arghyadip; Goel, Mr. Aditya; Bhattacharya, Mr. Bidyut; Agarwal, Ms. Ritika; Gullapalli, Mr. Krishna; Kumar, Mr. Pravesh; Rai, Ms. Kanchan Bala; Trivedi, Ms. Akanshi; Debnath, Mr. Arindam; Kumar, Mr. Ankit; and Yadav, Mr. Akash.
The application for the patent was published on Nov. 21, under issue no. 47/2025.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "Embodiments herein disclose a method (1000) and a single-phase grid-tied inverter system (100). The said arrangement comprises a pair of H-bridge side inductors including a first inductor on the line side and a second inductor on the neutral side, both wound on a common toroidal core. The winding orientation is configured to generate additive flux densities when differential-mode current flows through them. A film capacitor is connected between the common node of the inductors and the grid connection point to suppress high frequency harmonics. A pair of grid-side inductors, arranged similarly on a common core, provides equivalent differential mode filtering on the grid side. A damping resistor is connected in series with the capacitor to control high frequency oscillations and multiple bleeder resistors are employed across the capacitor to discharge stored energy in idle conditions."
