MUMBAI, India, Oct. 11 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202544032659 A) filed by Nokia Technologies Oy, Espoo, Finland, on April 2, for 'coordination of terminal-initiated reporting.'

Inventor(s) include Koskela, Timo; Karjalainen, Juha Pekka; and Hakola, Sami-Jukka.

The application for the patent was published on Oct. 10, under issue no. 41/2025.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "There are provided measures for coordination of terminal-initiated reporting. Such measures exemplarily comprise performing measurements on at least one reference signal, determining, based on a result of said performing measurements, whether a reporting condition is fulfilled, transmitting, when said reporting condition is fulfilled, a notification indicative of an intention to transmit a radio condition report, determining, when said reporting condition is fulfilled, based on at least one configured reporting parameter, reporting occasion resources out of a sequence of reporting occasion resources as reporting resources to be used for transmission of said radio condition report, generating said radio condition report based on said result of said performing measurements, and transmitting, when said reporting condition is fulfilled, said radio condition report in said reporting resources to be used for transmission of said radio condition report."
