MUMBAI, India, Feb. 13 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202541037041 A) filed by R. Vaidyanathan; and N. Sajith Kumar, Chennai, Tamil Nadu, on April 17, 2025, for 'cool n safe sanitary napkins.'

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The present invention is the preparation of sanitary napkin product for high-performance menstrual hygiene. The cool N .safe napkin (I 00) comprises of nine different layers, starting from the top is the top sheet (101) and has side. leakage protection layer made of hot air cotton. The. remaining eight layers of the cool N safe sanitary napkin (I 00) from the top are the layer with function chip 10 (102), air laid layer (103), super absorbent paper layer (104), SAP layer (105), air laid layer (I 06), breathahle back sheet layer (I 07), release paper with moisture proof (108) and finally an adhesive wrapper sheet (109). It combines the cuttingedge technology and far Intra-Red (IR) technology. It includes herbal science and advanced absorption materials, Graphene with anion and magnetic chip, nano- 15 silver and Chitin agent, has Sumitimo absorption gel and Aloe Vera materials."
