MUMBAI, India, Jan. 9 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202511105651 A) filed by Vivekananda Global University, Jaipur, Rajasthan, on Oct. 31, 2025, for 'convertible toddler comforting assistive device.'

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A convertible toddler comforting assistive device, comprises of a frame 101 comprising of a platform 102 laid with an inflatable member 103 and fenced via multiple plates 104 for providing accommodation to a toddler, multiple extendable legs 105 adjusts height of frame 101 ensuring stability of platform 102, an inflatable member 103 provides a comfortable resting space for toddler, multiple electromagnetic strips 106 secures position of frame 101, a crank and rocker assembly 202 for providing oscillating movement to platform 102, an imaging unit 107 monitors toddler's expressions for detecting discomfort of toddler, an extendable L-shaped link 108 to positon a display panel 109 to display images and videos for comforting toddler, a microphone 110 provides commands for conversion of frame 101 to a different orientation relating to a stroller, a four bar linkage for converting frame 101 into stroller orientation, a handle 111 pushes frame 101 in stroller orientation."
