MUMBAI, India, Oct. 24 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202441031335 A) filed by Hewlett Packard Enterprise Development Lp, Spring, U.S.A., on April 19, 2024, for 'controller sub-cluster selection by a network device after a cluster split.'

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "In some examples, a network device determines that a cluster split has occurred in which a controller cluster of controllers is split into a plurality of sub-clusters. The network device receives, from the plurality of sub-clusters, information associated with controllers of the plurality of sub-clusters. The network device selects, from among the plurality of sub-clusters, a sub-cluster to which the network device is to connect using a specified criterion."
