MUMBAI, India, Jan. 23 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202521124797 A) filed by Kpi Green Hydrogen And Ammonia Private Limited, Surat, Gujarat, on Dec. 10, 2025, for 'controlled incremental blending of green hydrogen into liquid petrolum gas (lpg) networks with real-time plc-pid feedback.'
Inventor(s) include Robbi Rajasekharam.
The application for the patent was published on Jan. 23, under issue no. 04/2026.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The invention relates to a PLC-PID controlled system (100) for incrementally blending green hydrogen into an LPG network supplying an industrial combustion system (180). Hydrogen produced on-site through an alkaline electrolysis plant enters a hydrogen feed line (110) with regulator (111), pressure transmitter (112), flow meter (113) and proportional valve (114), while LPG flows through an LPG feed line (120) with strainer (121), flow meter (122) and pressure sensor (123). Both streams merge at a static mixer (130) downstream of which a safety train (140) provides mechanical isolation. The PLC (150) enforces purge-based commissioning, validates LPG stability, and progressively admits hydrogen while computing a real-time blending ratio regulated through PID feedback. Owing to hydrogen's high calorific value and clean-burning characteristics, the system reduces carbonaceous fuel consumption while ensuring safe, stable and uninterrupted industrial operation."
