MUMBAI, India, Nov. 21 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202547084647 A) filed by Alterna Materials, Llc, Fort Collins, U.S.A., on Sept. 5, for 'control of heat transfer and fluid dynamics in metal ore reduction to affect reduction rate.'

The application for the patent was published on Nov. 21, under issue no. 47/2025.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A system to control heat transfer and fluid dynamics in metal ore reduction of metal ore is provided. The system has an entrance flow portion configured to pre-heat, mix and deliver one or more inlet streams comprising solid and gaseous components, and a reduction portion having ports configured to receive the one or more inlet streams comprising solid and gaseous components, a annular feed pipe in communication the ports, an outlet configured to discharge the solid and gaseous components and an exit flow portion configured to pre-heat the one or more inlet streams while allowing outlet streams to exit the reactor."
