MUMBAI, India, Sept. 12 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202517080919 A) filed by Beijing Xiaomi Mobile Software Co. Ltd., Beijing, on Aug. 26, for 'control method and apparatus for transport entity.'

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "Disclosed in embodiments of the present disclosure are a control method and apparatus for a transport entity, which can be applied to systems such as Internet of Vehicles, V2X, and V2V. The method comprises: in response to a terminal device triggering a mobility process, the terminal device determines use information of the mobility process; and according to the use information of the mobility process, the terminal device processes a transport entity corresponding to the mobility process. By implementing the embodiments of the present disclosure, when triggering a mobility process, a terminal device can use different processing modes to process different transport entities according to a use of the mobility process, thereby reducing data loss and the interruption time of a dynamic cell (or cell group) change."
