MUMBAI, India, Oct. 11 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202517079013 A) filed by Forsight Robotics Ltd., Yokneam Illit, Israel, on Aug. 20, for 'control component for robotic microsurgical procedures.'

Inventor(s) include Sohn, Zev; Glozman, Daniel; Ben Zeev, Ori; Korman, Tal; and Omari, Muans.

The application for the patent was published on Oct. 10, under issue no. 41/2025.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "Apparatus and methods are described including a control-component unit (30) that includes X, Y and Z linear-motion rotational axes (52X, 52Y, 52Z), and pitch, roll and yaw angular-motion rotational axes (70, 72, 74). A control-component tool (32) is coupled to the X, Y and Z linear- motion rotational axes (52X, 52Y, 52Z) and the angular-motion rotational axes (70, 72, 74) and is configured such that as an operator moves the control-component tool along linear X, Y, and Z directions, rotational motion is generated about the linear-motion rotational axes (52X, 52Y, 52Z), and as the operator moves the control-component tool through roll, pitch and yaw angular motions, rotational motion is generated about respective angular-motion rotational axes (70, 72, 74). The control-component tool is substantially balanced around the linear-motion rotational axes (52X, 52Y, 52Z), and the angular-motion rotational axes (70, 72, 74). Other applications are also described."
