MUMBAI, India, March 14 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202617005374 A) filed by Huawei Technologies Co. Ltd., Shenzhen, China, on Jan. 19, for 'control center editing method and electronic device.'

The application for the patent was published on March 13, under issue no. 11/2026.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A control center editing method and an electronic device. According to the method, when a control center of the electronic device is edited, a complete editing preview interface of a plurality of editable areas comprised in the control center can be directly displayed by means of an editing control, for example, one editable area may comprise a plurality of shortcut icons, and the other editable area may comprise a smart device. In this way, a more complete editing preview of the control center can be viewed on the editing preview interface, user operation can be reduced, and a user does not need to edit different editing areas by means of corresponding secondary interfaces, thereby improving the flexibility, visibility and convenience of editing the control center, and improving the experience of the user using the control center."
