The application for the patent was published on July 4, under issue no. 27/2025.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The present invention suppresses reduction in the discharge rate of gas discharged from a through hole in an external insertion type continuous casting nozzle that is to be used under the condition of being fitted into a stopper. A continuous casting nozzle according to the present invention is an external insertion type continuous casting nozzle A which is positioned below a stopper B for controlling the flow rate of molten steel in continuous casting of molten steel to be fitted into the stopper B and which is attachable and detachable from the outside of a molten steel receptacle said nozzle being provided with a refractory nozzle body 1 that has vertically formed therein an inner hole 11 through which molten steel passes. The nozzle body 1 has integrally formed therein: an enlarged diameter section 12 which includes a fitting portion 121 to be fitted to the stopper B and in which the diameter of the inner hole 11 increases toward the upper end of the nozzle body 1; and a straight section 13 which continues downward from the lower end of the enlarged diameter section 12 and in which the inner hole 11 has a straight shape. A gas pool 14 is provided only to the straight section 13 and a through hole 15 which is in communication with the gas pool 14 and through which gas is discharged from the enlarged diameter section 12 is provided to the nozzle body 1."
