MUMBAI, India, May 29 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202641025829 A) filed by RV College Of Engineering, Bengaluru, Karnataka, on March 5, for 'context-aware adaptive presentation automation system and method with semantic navigation and dynamic question/text annotation.'
Inventor(s) include B. Sathish Babu; Somesh Nandi; Ibrahim Bagwan; Mohammed Taha Sindoli; and Chirag H.
The application for the patent was published on May 29, under issue no. 22/2026.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "Context-Aware Adaptive Presentation Automation System and Method with 5 Semantic Navigation and Dynamic Question/Text Annotation Context-aware adaptive presentation automation system (100) and method with semantic navigation and dynamic question/text annotation is disclosed. Controller (106) is configured to receive PPT slide along with user-defined slide importance values from a user. Controller (106) is 10 configured to convert incoming audio signal into text using ASR. Incoming audio signal is user speaking during presentation. Controller (106) is configured to preprocess text to form complete sentences using buffering and sentence-binary intent classification. Each complete sentence is classified as either speech or command/question. If complete sentences are classified as speech, then controller is configured to update slide state with newly spoken narrative. Controller (106) is 15 configured to compute semantic similarity between user-defined slide importance values and the slide state. Controller (106) is configured to update probabilities for candidate slides using Belief-HMM-with-Inertia using semantic similarity. Controller (106) is configured to decide whether to stay on current slide or transition to new slide."
