MUMBAI, India, Sept. 12 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202421016025 A) filed by Scitech Center; Vantage Nutrition Llp; and Acg Pam Pharma Technologies Pvt. Ltd., Maharashtra, on March 7, 2024, for 'content releasing mechanism and method of operating the same.'

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "Content Releasing Mechanism and Method of Operating the Same The present invention, in one aspect provides a content releasing mechanism (100) which has a housing (10) configured to be received in a docking receptacle (140), the housing comprising: a vertically displaceable primary locking pin (14); an actuator (12); and a mechanically biased, vertically displaceable ancillary locking pin (18). The mechanism further has an interface plate (30) disposed atop the housing, and a gate assembly (80) disposed atop the interface plate, whereby the gate assembly is coupled with a vessel (110) containing predetermined contents, such that rotation of the vessel leads to the mechanism to be unlocked and facilitate the release of the contents of the vessel. In another aspect, the present invention provides a method (200) of operating the mechanism. The method includes docking (220) the vessel in a docking receptacle; sliding the vessel (230) on a guide rail (152); actuating (240) the actuator; and rotating (250) the vessel."
