MUMBAI, India, Oct. 11 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202411019729 A) filed by Sanskriti University, Mathura, Uttar Pradesh, on March 17, 2024, for 'container transportation assistive device for heavy vehicles.'

Inventor(s) include Dr. Sudhir Kumar Bhati; and Dr. Mohammad Mazid.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A container transportation assistive device for heavy vehicles includes a platform 1 attached with a vehicle via coupler 11, a computing unit 2 accessed by a user to input commands for loading container on a plate 3 installed via a rod 4, rod 4 extend for inclining and positioning plate 3 on ground, a camera 5 mounted on plate 3 for detecting distance of plate 3 from container, an bar 6 configured with plate 3 via a toggle arrangement 7 translates and positions bar 6 in contact with container, multiple electromagnets 8 configured with bar 6 adheres bar 6 with wall of container, toggle arrangement 7 re-actuates for translating bar 6 back, simultaneously multiple rollers 9 configured on plate 3 rotates and rod 4 retracts for loading container over plate 3, multiple links 10 configured over platform 1 extends for creating a perimeter to secure container over plate 3."
