MUMBAI, India, Sept. 26 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202421020470 A) filed by Idex India Pvt. Ltd., Ahmedabad, Gujarat, on March 19, 2024, for 'container for intermittent bulk handling.'

Inventor(s) include Vaishnav, Abhishek S.

The application for the patent was published on Sept. 26, under issue no. 39/2025.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The present disclosure relates to a bulk handling container comprising a bottle for storing a plurality of tablets, said bottle comprising an inner wall, an outer wall and a base opening, where the inner wall has a slope for guiding the plurality of tablets towards a base of the bottle. The container also comprises an inlet portion mounted on a top surface of the bottle, where the inlet portion comprises a guiding component and a circular deflector channel. The guiding component has a top opening for receiving the plurality of tablets, and has a wall with one or more slots. The circular deflector channel has an open-cone shape, wherein an outer circumferential edge of the deflector channel is extended towards the inner wall of the bottle to create a gap between the deflector channel and the inner wall of the bottle."
