MUMBAI, India, July 25 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202517065925 A) filed by Nahtlos Ag, St. Gallen, Switzerland, on July 10, for 'contact system for providing electrical contact with an object.'

The application for the patent was published on July 25, under issue no. 30/2025.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The invention relates to a contact system (1) for providing an electric contact to the skin of a person, the contact system (1) comprising a reservoir (10) having a fluid (11) and a conductive layer (30). The reservoir (10) comprises a transmissive layer (12), the transmissive layer (12) being configured to provide defined transmission of vapour and/or vapour-like substance, and the transmissive layer (12) and the conductive layer (30) are arranged relative to each other so that humidifying of the conductive layer (30) by transmission of vaporous parts of the fluid through the transmissive layer (12) is provideable."
