MUMBAI, India, April 20 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202517108313 A) filed by Delta Electronics, Inc., Taoyuan City, Taiwan, on Nov. 7, 2025, for 'connector assembly structure of electronic device.'
Inventor(s) include Li, Yi-Syuan; Hsu, Ching-Chuan; and Yan, Shih-Ming.
The application for the patent was published on April 17, under issue no. 16/2026.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A connector assembly structure of an electronic device. The connector assembly structure comprises a housing, a connector, and a rubber gasket, wherein the housing has a first housing part and a second housing part, the first housing part and the second housing part being attached to each other, the first housing part having a first through opening, the second housing part having a second through opening, and the first through opening and the second through opening being aligned with each other; the connector is arranged in the housing; the connector has a connection part, the connection part passing through the first through opening and the second through opening and protruding from the housing; the rubber gasket is sleeved on the connection part and is clamped between the first housing part and the second housing part; and an inner inclined surface is provided at an inner edge of one of the first through opening and the second through opening, the rubber gasket is provided with an outer inclined surface, and the inner inclined surface presses against the outer inclined surface. The first housing part and the second housing part clamp the rubber gasket, thereby achieving the effects of connector positioning and waterproofing."
