MUMBAI, India, April 20 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202514073391 A) filed by Honda Motor Co. Ltd., Tokyo, on Aug. 1, 2025, for 'connector.'

The application for the patent was published on April 17, under issue no. 16/2026.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A connector (10) has a plurality of insertion holes (18) into which terminals (36) are inserted and in which contact conduction portions (19) are provided, the insertion holes (18) each include a bottom surface (18a) opposite the inserted terminal (36), and a wall portion (18b) extending in the insertion direction from the bottom surface (18a). The wall portion (18b) is provided with a communication portion (20) communicating the adjacent insertion holes (18) with each other and including a communication portion bottom portion (23) having a bulge portion (23a) bulging to the front side in the insertion direction with respect to the bottom surface (18a). In a state where the terminal (36) is fitted into the insertion hole (18), the tip side portion of the terminal (36) is positioned on the bottom surface (18a) side in the insertion direction with respect to the communication portion bottom portion (23)."
