MUMBAI, India, June 13 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202517045565 A) filed by Siemens Energy Global Gmbh And Co. Kg, Munchen, Germany, on May 12, for 'connecting device for connecting two housing parts of a housing of an electrical installation.'

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The invention relates to a connecting device (3) for connecting a first housing part (5) and a second housing part (7) of a housing (1) of an electrical installation. The connecting device (3) comprises a first connecting part (9) having at least one connecting region (23) in which the first connecting part (9) can be connected to the first housing part (5) in non positively locking and/or cohesive fashion and a second connecting part (10) which is connected to the first connecting part (9) by way of at least one first tension rod (19) and can be connected to the second housing part (7) directly or indirectly. The first connecting part (9) has at least one force distribution recess (41) by way of which forces acting on the first connecting part (9) via the at least one first tension rod (19) are distributed more evenly in the first connecting part (9) than without the force distribution recess (41)."
