MUMBAI, India, Sept. 26 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202544024141 A) filed by Nokia Technologies Oy, Espoo, Finland, on March 18, for 'configuration of uplink scheduling frequency range.'
Inventor(s) include Tiirola, Esa Tapani; and Vasenkari, Petri Juhani.
The application for the patent was published on Sept. 26, under issue no. 39/2025.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "Example embodiments relate to configuring an uplink scheduling frequency range (SFR) for a user equipment. The user equipment may comprise: means for receiving, from a base station, a configuration of an uplink SFR, wherein the uplink SFR is associated with a reference location or a reference range in frequency domain, and wherein the uplink SFR is confined within a channel bandwidth; means for determining at least one maximum power reduction requirement based on the configuration of the uplink SFR; means for transmitting, to the base station, an uplink signal within the uplink SFR in compliance with the at least one maximum power reduction requirement; and means for switching between transmission of the uplink signal within the uplink SFR and reception of a downlink signal within the channel bandwidth, wherein the switching comprises adaptation of at least one parameter of baseband processing of the uplink signal or downlink signal."
