MUMBAI, India, July 5 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202517059235 A) filed by Thantawan Industry Public Company Limited, Nakornpathom, Thailand, on June 20, for 'confidential zipper bag.'

Inventor(s) include Thitihiranmethi, Thadpong; and Phanpitak, Thanaphat.

The application for the patent was published on July 4, under issue no. 27/2025.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The present invention provides the confidential zipper bag comprising the first snap-fit and the second snap-fit. The first snap-fit and the second snap-fit comprise a total of at least two male structures formed in a manner that a tip has an arrow-shaped cross-section extending from the first snap-fit and/or the second snap-fit towards the opposite snap-fit; a female structure, positioned at the snap-fit opposite to each of the corresponding male structure, having a U-shaped structure wrapping around the arrow tip of the male structure, wherein the tip of the female structure is curved back towards the tip of the male structure; and at least two complementary structures formed at the first snap-fit and/or the second snap-fit, at the position between the first base and/or the second base and the tip of the female structure of the opposite snap-fit, and extends towards the opposite base."

The patent application was internationally filed on Dec. 15, 2023, under International application No.PCT/TH2023/050031.
