According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "Embodiments disclosed herein describe a method and system for conditional onboarding of an API Invoker (203) to a Common API Framework (CAPIF). The method involves conditional onboarding an API Invoker to a CAPIF involves receiving an onboard request with criteria information from the API Invoker (203). The network apparatus determines if the CAPIF Core Function (CCF) (103) supports the criteria. If supported, the API Invoker (203) is onboarded, and a confirmation message is sent. If not, an onboarding notification request is sent to the API Invoker (203), indicating why the criteria aren't met, and a response is received from the API Invoker (203). This process ensures that only compatible API Invokers are onboarded to the CAPIF. This solution ensures only valid onboarding's, better consumption of the CAPIF services by API invoker (203) and avoid the wastage of resources."
