MUMBAI, India, March 13 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202641024449 A) filed by Chennai Institute Of Technology, Chennai, Tamil Nadu, on March 2, for 'comprehensive cloud-based practice management and nutrient analysis software for ayurvedic dietitians.'
Inventor(s) include Ms. Ramya R; Ms. Subiksha M; and Ms. Dhanvarshni D.
The application for the patent was published on March 13, under issue no. 11/2026.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "Ayurvedic dietary practice emphasizes personalized nutrition based on individual body constitution (Prakriti), digestive strength (Agni), and lifestyle factors. Traditional methods are manual and time-consuming, limiting efficiency and consistency. This study presents cloud-based practice management and nutrient analysis software for Ayurvedic dietitians, integrating patient data management, personalized diet planning, and automated nutrient analysis using modern nutritional databases. The system generates constitution-specific meal recommendations, computes macro- and micronutrient composition, and streamlines clinical workflows, including appointments, documentation, and progress tracking. Secure cloud-based storage and remote access enhance scalability and teleconsultation capabilities. By combining traditional Ayurvedic knowledge with modern technology, the software improves accuracy, efficiency, and consistency in dietary practice, supporting personalized and evidence-based nutrition care."
