MUMBAI, India, March 14 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202517120828 A) filed by Enzyre B. V., Nijmegen, Netherlands, on Dec. 2, 2025, for 'compounds and methods for high purity chemiluminescent substrates.'
Inventor(s) include Rutjes, Floris Petrus Johannes Theodorus; Sondag, Daan; Boltje, Thomas Jan; Van 'T Veer, Cornelis; Van Geffen, Mark; and Van Heerde, Waander Laurens.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The present invention relates to substrate molecules suitable for monitoring enzymatic activity via chemiluminescence. The substrates are provided via solid phase peptide synthesis using an aminoluciferin precursor. After solid phase synthesis the precursor is converted to an aminoluciferin moiety. The substrates are of high purity and stability."
The patent application was internationally filed on May 17, 2024, under International application No.PCT/EP2024/063661.
