MUMBAI, India, May 30 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202321080821 A) filed by Krtin Kala, Tragad, Gujarat, on Nov. 29, 2023, for 'compound vision using drones for search and rescue missions.'
Inventor(s) include Krtin Kala.
The application for the patent was published on May 30, under issue no. 22/2025.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The present invention provides an AI-driven system for search and rescue missions, thereby creating a compound vision wherein each drone acts as an independent point of information and the swarm collectively provides an overview of the zone in focus. This along with AI and Machine vision enables a vast array of operations wherein a large view of focus is needed without loss in quality while maintaining the capability of multiple vantage points. The robustness of the given invention allows for it to be used in recon missions like the ones launched during the disappearance of MH 370 (8 March 2014) and AN-32 of the Indian Air Force (22 July 2016), both still unfound."
