MUMBAI, India, Feb. 13 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202611001657 A) filed by Nims University, Jaipur, Rajasthan, on Jan. 7, for 'compositions and methods for enhancing male reproductive health.'

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A nutraceutical composition (100) and a corresponding manufacturing method (200) are provided for improving male fertility parameters, including sperm count, motility, and morphology. The composition incorporates six synergistic bioactive components: fructose as an energy substrate to support spermatogenesis; a bioavailable zinc source selected from zinc picolinate, zinc bisglycinate, or zinc citrate to regulate the hypothalamic-pituitary-gonadal axis; a standardized pumpkin seed extract delivering phytosterols or lignans for antioxidant protection; L-carnitine or acetyl-L-carnitine to enhance mitochondrial ATP production; coenzyme Q10 to support mitochondrial function and reduce oxidative stress; and a natural anti-inflammatory agent selected from turmeric or ginger extract to reduce testicular inflammation. The method (200) comprises sequential operations of measuring, drying, milling, pre-blending, blending, granulating, forming oral dosage forms, and packaging, thereby ensuring compositional stability, blend uniformity, and consistent therapeutic efficacy."
