MUMBAI, India, Oct. 11 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202517054286 A) filed by L'Oreal, Paris, on June 5, for 'composition suitable for keratin fibers.'
Inventor(s) include Takeda Ayano; Marets Nicolas; Komure Natsumi; and Nakano Adelino Kaoru.
The application for the patent was published on Oct. 10, under issue no. 41/2025.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The present invention mainly relates to a composition for keratin fibers, such as hair, comprising: (a) at least one compound selected from the group consisting of glyoxylic acid, glyoxylic acid solvates, glyoxylic acid salts, glyoxylic acid esters, glyoxylic acid amides, and mixtures thereof; and (b) at least one compound, different from the (a) compound, selected from the group consisting of keto acids, salts thereof, and mixtures thereof, wherein the amount of the (a) compound(s) in the composition is less than 15% by weight relative to the total weight of the composition, and the amount of the (b) compound(s) in the composition is 10% by weight or less. The present invention can provide keratin fibers such as hair with good texture, strength, and resistance to humidity which can lengthen reshaping effects."
The patent application was internationally filed on July 20, 2023, under International application No.PCT/JP2023/027472.
