Inventor(s) include Ms. Sanya Mahajan; Ms. Sia Sharma; Mr. Sahil Katyal; Mr. Yash Bholla; Ms. Lakshita Bassi; and Dr. Divya Dheer.
The application for the patent was published on Jan. 9, under issue no. 02/2026.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The present invention relates to a dual-action synergistic composition for restoring natural hair pigmentation by simultaneously activating melanin biosynthesis and protecting follicular melanocytes from oxidative stress. The composition comprises L-Tyrosine, Copper, Amla extract, and Curry leaf extract in defined quantitative ranges that collectively enhance tyrosinase activity, replenish melanin precursors, and neutralize hydrogen peroxide-induced oxidative damage. The formulation may be delivered as capsules, tablets, powders, granules, or beverages using nutraceutically acceptable excipients. Oral administration once or twice daily for 8-12 weeks results in progressive repigmentation of newly growing hair, improved melanin deposition, and reduction of visible grey strands."
