MUMBAI, India, Aug. 22 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202517068762 A) filed by Arkema France, Puteaux, France, on July 18, for 'composition comprising at least one organic peroxide, at least one emulsifier, and at least one salt.'

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The present invention relates to a composition comprising at least one organic peroxide, at least one emulsifying agent, at least one salt, and water. The invention also relates to the use of a composition as defined above for polymerising or copolymerising one or more ethylenically unsaturated monomers, preferably one or more halogenated ethylenically unsaturated monomers, more preferably vinyl chloride. The present invention also relates to a halogenated vinyl polymer obtained by polymerising or copolymerising at least one halogenated ethylenically unsaturated monomer in the presence of at least one composition as defined above."
