MUMBAI, India, Feb. 27 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202641018605 A) filed by Flowsphere India Private Limited, Bengaluru, Karnataka, on Feb. 18, for 'community-owned artificial intelligence governance system and method for decentralized model control.'
Inventor(s) include Sharma, ASV Nagesh Kumar.
The application for the patent was published on Feb. 27, under issue no. 09/2026.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The invention relates to a community owned governance framework for artificial intelligence models, designed to ensure decentralized, transparent, and verifiable control of computational systems. The disclosed system integrates distributed ledger technologies, confidential computing hardware, and cryptographic verification mechanisms to enforce compliance with community approved governance states. Validator nodes equipped with trusted execution environments are configured to execute inference operations only upon verification of cryptographically signed governance states stored on the ledger. Governance transactions including proposals, voting outcomes, and state transitions are recorded on the ledger and processed by smart contracts, which generate global state transition roots upon approval. Firmware level updates are triggered automatically across edge computing hardware to load new model weights without reliance on manual intervention. Hardware attestation protocols generate cryptographic quotes confirming execution of approved models, while zero knowledge proofs provide assurance that outputs correspond to governance compliant states without exposing proprietary parameters. The invention is industrially applicable across finance, healthcare, administration, and communication sectors."
