MUMBAI, India, Oct. 11 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202517074194 A) filed by Mitsubishi Electric Corporation, Tokyo, on Aug. 4, for 'communication system, communication method, and communication program.'
Inventor(s) include Ichii, Hiroyuki; Sumi, Takenori; Matsutaka, Yasushi; Takigawa, Yusuke; Kurisu, Koki; and Adachi, Daigo.
The application for the patent was published on Oct. 10, under issue no. 41/2025.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A target node, which is a node (2) in a communication system that comprises a sink node and a plurality of nodes (2) and that is capable of constructing a multi-hop wireless communication network, comprises a communication control unit (22) and a transmission/reception unit (21). Upon receipt of transfer data which has been transmitted to the sink node from a transmission source node being one of the nodes (2) and which indicates an update value that corresponds to the number of hops from the transmission source node to the target node, the communication control unit (22) updates a first update value, which is the update value indicated by the received transfer data, to a post-update first update value. When the post-update first update value has not reached a transfer termination value, the transmission/reception unit (21) transmits, to the surrounding of the target node, transfer data in which the first update value has been updated. Here, the difference between the first update value and the post-update first update value corresponds to a single hop, and an initial value for the update value indicated by the transfer data corresponds to the number of hops from the transmission source node to the sink node."
The patent application was internationally filed on Feb. 13, 2023, under International application No.PCT/JP2023/004760.
