MUMBAI, India, June 27 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202527053130 A) filed by Huawei Technologies Co. Ltd., Guangdong, China, on May 31, for 'communication method and apparatus based on configuration grant.'

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A communication method and apparatus based on configuration grant. The method comprises: a terminal determining that a data volume that a plurality of transmission occasions corresponding to a data frame can bear is greater than a data volume of the data frame, wherein the plurality of transmission occasions comprise a first transmission occasion and a second transmission occasion, and the second transmission occasion is after the first transmission occasion; and then, the terminal sending indication information to an access network device on the first transmission occasion, wherein the indication information indicates an adjustment on a time-frequency resource and/or an MCS of the second transmission occasion. In this way, after an access network device configures a plurality of transmission occasions for a terminal by means of configuration grant, the transmission occasions can be flexibly and dynamically adjusted by using the method, thereby facilitating a reduction in resource wastes due to the fact that a data volume that a plurality of transmission occasions corresponding to a data frame can bear is greater than a data volume of the data frame."
