MUMBAI, India, Nov. 7 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202537098457 A) filed by Huawei Technologies Co. Ltd., Guangdong, China, on Oct. 13, for 'communication method and apparatus.'

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The present application provides a communication method and an apparatus, which can be used for resource sharing in channel occupancy time (COT) in sidelink communication. The method comprises: a first terminal apparatus determines a first COT; according to a preset priority threshold, the first terminal apparatus determines to share a first resource, a time domain position of the first resource being within the first COT, wherein the priority of data on the first resource is higher than or equal to the priority threshold; and the first terminal apparatus sends first indication information to at least one second terminal apparatus, the first indication information being used for sharing the first COT, and the first indication information comprising one or more of the priority threshold, resource information of the first COT, and shared authorization information of a PSFCH resource in the first COT. The method can realize COT sharing of unlicensed spectrum resources in a sidelink."
