The application for the patent was published on July 25, under issue no. 30/2025.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "Provided in the present application is a communication method. A sending-end device, which implements the method, may acquire time-related information of data to be sent, for example, a timestamp for representing the delivery of said data to a protocol layer, and a timer duration for representing a waiting time of said data in the protocol layer. When the time-related information satisfies a preset condition, a sending end may trigger the reporting of a delay-related information report or delay-related information. The sending end may send to a receiving end the time-related information or other information, which is obtained according to the time-related information and represents the remaining delay of a data packet, such that the receiving end may sense the remaining delay of a service of the sending end, thereby avoiding timeout."
The patent application was internationally filed on Aug. 22, 2023, under International application No.PCT/CN2023/114275.
