MUMBAI, India, July 25 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202527063655 A) filed by Huawei Technologies Co. Ltd., Guangdong, China, on July 3, for 'communication method, network device, and terminal device.'

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The present application provides a communication method, comprising: a terminal device determines the number of AI resources required to run a first AI model and a second AI model at the same time at a first moment, the first AI model being used for determining a first report, and the second AI model being used for determining a second report; according to the number of AI resources available at the first moment and the number of AI resources required, the terminal device determines that the first report is reported at a second moment, and the terminal device reports the report to a network device in any one of the following modes: the terminal device reporting the first report at the second moment and reporting the second report after the second moment; or reporting the first report at the second moment and not reporting the second report at the second moment; or reporting the first report and a third report at the second moment, wherein the third report is determined on the basis of a non-AI model. For a report which cannot be reported, the processing mode of the terminal device is defined, so as to prevent a situation of the network device mistakenly considering that a corresponding report cannot be received because of reasons such as poor link quality."
