MUMBAI, India, Nov. 28 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202531017973 A) filed by Siksha O Anusandhan, Bhubaneswar, Orissa, on Feb. 28, for 'communication enhancement device.'

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A communication enhancement device, comprises of a hemispherical frame 101 developed to be positioned on mouth of a user and attached with a looped strap 102 that is accessed by the user to wrap around the back of user's head, an artificial intelligence-based imaging unit 103 integrated in the frame 101 and to determine dimensions of the user's face, an extendable bar installed on lateral sides of the frame 101 to extend/retract till the user's ears, a pair of earpieces 104 configured with a speaker 105 associated with the device for notifying the user regarding the call, a microphone 106 integrated in the frame 101 for enabling the user to provide input voice commands to accept/decline the call, and multiple motorized iris lids 107 arranged on the frame 101 for getting opened/closed to provide an optimum ventilation to the user."
