MUMBAI, India, Aug. 29 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202517075751 A) filed by Panasonic Intellectual Property Corporation Of America, Torrance, U.S.A., on Aug. 8, for 'communication device, communication method, and integrated circuit.'
Inventor(s) include Horiuchi, Ayako; Nunome, Tomoya; and Suzuki, Hidetoshi.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The present invention improves the utilization efficiency of a communication resource in an unlicensed band. This communication device is provided with: a control circuit for determining a resource allocation that does not conflict with a synchronization signal block, for a signal different from the synchronization signal block, in a time resource in which the synchronization signal block can be transmitted, the synchronization signal block being placed in a resource pool used for terminal-to-terminal communication on an unlicensed band; and a communication circuit for transmitting or receiving the signal."
