MUMBAI, India, Sept. 26 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202517085040 A) filed by Panasonic Intellectual Property Corporation Of America, Torrance, U.S.A., on Sept. 8, for 'communication apparatuses and communication methods for a multi-physical random access channel transmission.'

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The present disclosure provides communication apparatuses and communication methods for random access radio network temporary identifier (RA-RNTI) calculation for handling Random Access Channel Occasion (RO) Collision in a multi-physical Random Access Channel (multi-PRACH) transmission. The communication apparatuses include a communication apparatus comprising: circuitry, which in operation, determines one or more random access radio network temporary identifiers (RA-RNTIs) based on a first plurality of resources and/or a second plurality of resources of a Random Access Channel Occasions (RO) group; a transmitter, which in operation, transmits a preamble in at least one of the first plurality of resources; and a receiver, which in operation, receives downlink control information (DCI) with cyclic redundancy check (CRC) scrambled by the one or more RA-RNTIs in response to the preamble transmission."
