MUMBAI, India, April 17 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202621013437 A) filed by Gokul Global University, Patan, Gujarat, on Feb. 7, for 'comfort cushion device for tame animals.'

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A comfort cushion device for tame animals, comprising a circular body 101 furnished with a cushioned member 102 for accommodating a tame pet, a set of gripping pads 103 disposed at base of the body 101 for stabilizing the body 101 on a surface, a plurality of vibrating units installed on the body 101 to provide rhythmic vibrations, a temperature regulation unit embedded within the cushion of the body 101, the temperature regulation unit comprises a gel layer incorporated within the cushion, a Peltier unit to maintain optimal warmth for the pet, a speaker 104 to emit calming sounds or owner-recorded messages and an AI-enabled camera 105 mounted on a pivot joint to capture visual behavior of the pet."
