MUMBAI, India, July 25 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202517061619 A) filed by Sacmi Cooperativa Meccanici Imola Societa' Cooperativa, Imola, Italy, on June 27, for 'combination of a container and a closing element.'
Inventor(s) include Pucci, Fabrizio; and Parrinello, Fiorenzo.
The application for the patent was published on July 25, under issue no. 30/2025.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A combination of a container (C) and of a closing element (4). The container (C) defines a containment space and comprises a portion (2) defining an access opening (A) to the containment space. The closing element (4) is movable relative to the portion (2) to open or close the opening (A) and defines with the portion (2) a closing assembly (1) for the container (C). The portion (2) and/or the closing element (4) is provided, on a surface portion of interaction between the portion (2) and the closing element (4) subjected to friction during opening or closing of the container (C), with an interface layer (5) suitable for facilitating a sliding between the portion (2) and the closing element (4). At least said portion (2) and said closing element (4) are made of polyethylene terephthalate and said layer (5) is made of polyethylene."
