MUMBAI, India, Sept. 26 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202547081886 A) filed by China Petroleum & Chemical Corporation, Beijing, on Aug. 28, for 'colored nylon and preparation method therefor and application thereof.'

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The present invention relates to a colored nylon preparation technology, and disclosed are colored nylon and a preparation method therefor and an application thereof. The colored nylon comprises nylon structure units and chromogenic structure units. The chromogenic structure units comprise dye chromogenic groups. The chromaticity of a supernatant obtained by steaming a mixture of the colored nylon and an organic solvent in a weight ratio of 1:3 does not exceed 10, and the difference in color depth of the colored nylon does not exceed 0.2. The preparation method for the colored nylon comprises: enabling a condensate containing the dye chromogenic groups to be in contact with a nylon monomer for a condensation reaction, so that at least some of the dye chromogenic groups are located between and/or at the ends of the structure units formed from the nylon unit. The colored nylon provided by the present invention has excellent water resistance and organic solvent resistance, high dyeing uniformity and good dyeing stability, low energy consumption and little pollution in the preparation process, and good economic and social benefits."
