MUMBAI, India, Oct. 24 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202441031371 A) filed by Mahindra & Mahindra Limited, Chengalpattu, Tamil Nadu, on April 19, 2024, for 'collapsible frame for chassis of vehicle.'
Inventor(s) include Rishi Shrivastava; Avinash Eknath Dhole; Abhijit Londhe; Sanjay Kale; and Santosh Kumar Patel.
The application for the patent was published on Oct. 24, under issue no. 43/2025.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The present invention provides a collapsible frame (100) for a chassis (102) of a vehicle (300), comprising at least a deformable element (104) provided on at least a surface of the collapsible frame (100), whereby the collapsible frame (100) collapses along at least a preferential axis based on location of at least the deformable element (104)."
