MUMBAI, India, Nov. 7 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202411025442 A) filed by Chandigarh University; and Chandigarh University Technology Business Incubator, Mohali, Punjab, on March 28, 2024, for 'clutch housing cleaning device for heavy vehicle.'

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A clutch housing cleaning device for heavy vehicle, comprising a platform 1 positioned on a ground surface underneath a heavy vehicle and configured with plurality of motorized omnidirectional wheel, a computing unit gives input commands for cleaning clutch housing of vehicle, an artificial intelligence-based imaging unit 3 detects exact location of clutch housing of vehicle, accordingly wheels 2 maneuver platform 1 in proximity to clutch housing, an electronic nozzle 4 attached with a chamber 5 for dispensing diesel on housing for loosening oil, a motorized brush 7 via an L-shaped telescopically operated rod 6 scrubs housing, a motorized two-axis lead screw arrangement 8 provide suitable bi-directional motion to rod 6, an electronic valve 9 attached with a container 10 for dispensing corrosion removal solution, a robotic arm 12 via an abrasive pad 11 removes corrosion."
